DESCRIPTION

Commercially Pure Titanium Grade 3 is stronger than Grades 1 and Grade 2, similar in ductility and only slightly less formable. However, Commercially Pure Titanium Grade 3 possesses higher mechanicals than Grade 1 and Grade 2.

WELDING

Commercially Pure Titanium Grade 3 has superior weldability.

 

ANNEALING

Annealing of Commercially Pure Titanium Grade 3 can be performed by heating to 704°C (1299°F).

 

FORGING

Rough forging of Commercially Pure Titanium Grade 3 can be performed at 907°C (1165°F) and completed at 843°C (1550 °F).
