DESCRIPTION

NKS provides Commercially Pure Titanium Grade 1 in slit coil, strip and cut-to-length. Grade 1 titanium is the softest and most ductile of the four titanium grades that NKS provides. It possesses the greatest formability, excellent corrosion resistance and high impact toughness.

FORMING

Commercially Pure Titanium Grade 1 can be hot or cold formed using a myriad of processes.

 

WELDING

Commercially Pure Titanium Grade 1 has good welding capability

 

ANNEALING

Annealing of Commercially Pure Titanium Grade 1 can be performed by heating to 704°C (1299°F).

 

FORGING

Rough forging of Commercially Pure Titanium Grade 1 can be performed at 871°C (1600°F) and completed at 788-843°C (1450-1550 °F).
